Central Air

Central air conditioning systems are designed to cool down the inside of a building. These systems use a refrigeration unit to remove heat from the room and transfer it outside. There are two types of central air conditioners: split-system and ductless. A split system is installed in each room while a ductless system is placed throughout the entire house. Both systems have their advantages and disadvantages.

Split System
A split system uses a cooling coil that is located in the ceiling. The cooling coil is connected to a fan that blows out cold air. The fan is controlled by a thermostat that turns it on and off depending on the temperature. Split systems require less maintenance than ductless systems. However, they do not work well if the area around the cooling coil gets hot. Also, they cannot be used in rooms where the floor is below ground level.

Ductless Systems
Ductless systems use a blower that circulates cooled air throughout the whole house. Ductless systems are ideal for homes with high ceilings, basements, and crawl spaces. They are also great for apartments since they don't take up much space. Ductless systems need regular maintenance to ensure that they function properly.

Ductless Mini Splits

A fantastic option for your home comfort needs.  Not only do they cool the space, but also offer very energy efficient heating as well.  They can be installed almost anywhere and they present a low-cost option for homeowners who would otherwise not be able to install traditional central air conditioning.

Newer more efficient models can even produce heat when the temperature outside goes well below zero.  This presents a compelling option for these units to be used as a primary source of heat.

Gas Heating Systems

Gas heating systems are commonly used in homes and businesses because they are clean and reliable.

A gas heating system is highly reliable because it uses natural gas as its fuel. You also don't have to worry about running out of gas like you would with a traditional oil system.

A gas heating system can be setup as baseboard, steam, hot water, or forced hot air.
